National Sports Day Celebration 2023

Avinashilingam Institute, Department of Physical Education organised the National Sports day celebration on 28.08.2023.

In lieu of National Sports Day *Striders Walking Club* was inaugurated for the students, Teaching staff and Non teaching staff.Dr.S.S.Manimozhi,Head Department of Education flagged off and started the event. Dr.Mahalakshi,Librarian unveiled the walking club logo.Few Standard and non standard sports events were organised for the campus II ( School of Education, School of Engineering and School of Arts and science SF) students,Staff and Non teaching staff. Around 600 students and 40staff members participated in the following events 

Staff - Leg Cricket , Throwball and fun games

Students - Basketball, Volleyball and Fun races. Dr.P.Vanithamani , Head Department of Physical Education delivered the gratitude note.The participants were appreciated with the e certificate.

School of Education - Fresher's Day Celebration 03.08.2023

School of Education - Department of Education, Department of Physical Education and Department of Special Education student council jointly  organised freshers day on 03.08.2023. HODs, staff and students of school of Education participated in this program. The senior students gave a warm welcome to their juniors. Senior students performed Dance, Skit, Singing,games and Book talk. The whole program was well planned and executed by the staff and students involved in the students council.
