Leadership Training Camp

Department of Physical Education organized the Leadership Training Camp from 31.10.2022 to 06.11.2022 for the BPEd  students. The students were divided into 4 groups namely Totos, Kudiyas,Khasi and Dimasa. Each day started with Flag hoisting and citizenship training was inculcated. There were 5 sessions organized each day, which includes their morning fitness workouts, Special lectures, various competitions, Hut visits, Article collection, Leadership games,  Cooking competition, Obstacle race, Mici Sports, Pot Breaking, Camp Songs, Treasure Hunt, Art and craft and Camp Fire.

Leadership Training Camp was inaugurated on 31.10.2022 the invited Cheif Guest for the day was Dr.A.Sathiya Moorthy, Assistant Professor cum Physiotherapist, GAPEY. For Valedictory Dr. Gurugnanambiga, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil, Avinashilingam Institute was the Chief Guest.

DPE,Avinuty Fitness Club - Health Camp

Department of Physical Education,

Avinuty Fitness Club has organised a Health check up camp and Awareness Guest Lecture program for the Teaching and Non Teaching faculty of Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for women, campus II on 11.10.2022 by inviting BRJ Hospital Dr.Sathish and his team.

In this program Dr.BRJ.Sathish has delivered a awareness lecture on Fitness and Women Health and followed by a health checkup camp was organised. Bone Density check up, Blood Sugar level, and general health checkup was conducted. Beneficiaries of this program were Teaching faculty of Education, Self Financing program, Physical Education, Engineering and Non Teaching faculty from various departments participated.

Dr.R.Saravana Prabha and Mrs.A.Sivasankari initiated and executed the whole program in an organized lane.
